Manchester based producer and visual artist - Catch92's 'Wander' EP was a surreal journey inspired by the Lewis Carroll literary classic and popular culture mainstay - Alice in Wonderland...

Receiving high praise from the get-go his newfound ambient, psychedelia, and electronica infuences showed a new side to the lofi producer and impressed the likes of press heavyweights XLR8R and picked up strong support at radio with BBC 6Music, Worldwide FM and Couleur 3 all showing love.

And now the EP gets reworked from a clutch of production talents affiliated with Folded Music to put their own spin on proceedings, starting with label founder - Asta Hiroki.

Inspired by the track title and well known Alice in Wonderland twist his rework is built around the blurred lines between consciousness and dreaming.

"The first section of the arrangement I wanted to signify being in a dream with hazy elements floating in and out, followed another section that comes suddenly - a bleary eyed awakening to reality, or potentially even a false awakening whereby the listener is still in a dream state for the latter part."

With a reputation for making dreamy music, this collaboration definitely plays to the producers strengths and marks an interesting spin on the original material. With more exciting mixes and a full remix EP yet to come this is not one to sleep on!
